Nortel???

My husband works for Nortel... just not sure for how much longer!!   Nortel filed for bankruptcy protection today... who would have thought this would happen back in 2000 when stocks were at $124 per share!  Now they are at .13 cents and still going down!  With almost 17 years of service with one company, it's hard to imagine a change coming... and it is admittedly a little scary with the economy the way it is and Brad as "mature" as he is.

So... we are in a holding pattern for now and will have to see how this plays out.  I joked with the kids that they will need to do another flyer route to pay for milk and bread and Lindsey offered up that she could probably cover some gas money too!!  Too cute!!

But despite the uncertainty, we still have so much to be thankful for and I trust God knows what He's doing.  This is one of those times when faith is tested... do I really believe "all things work together for good" and "don't worry about anything, instead pray about everything" and can I land on this daily?  I'm sure going to try!  Besides, as the kids said as well, "You can always take more photos Mom!"

Allison, I will pray for you & your family. I know first hand how hard this uncertainty can be (it's been almost 2 years for us). But you're right - How great it is that we can put our trust in the Lord and know that He will take care of us ... no matter what!!!
Hugs to you!!! Miss you and hope you're doing well.

I can't believe about Nortel either. My BIL is president of one of their overseas divisions and I am continually shocked at what I hear. I keep wondering when they will be leaving Atlanta and coming home.

I hope everything works out OK for everyone
