I have a question for all of you and if you post your answer here on my blog before Sept. 5, you could win some amazing products from Tattered Angels! I had the delightful opportunity to "test drive" their Glimmer Mist and accessories (see above layout) and wanted to share some with you to try!! It is too much fun!!
So... here is my question:
On our "Crop Crawl" we will be doing here in Calgary on Sat. Nov. 1 where we will take a bus tour to assorted Calgary scrapbook stores and then end up for a Crop Party where we can then play with all our goodies... would you want to pay extra and ride in a more luxurious bus or would you rather save your money for shopping and travel in a school bus?
Even if you aren't from Calgary and can't join us on our "Crop Crawl", I'd love to hear your opinion! The Tattered Angels bundle you can win will include some Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Screens, Glimmer Glass, Glimmer Chips and a completed Glimmer Glass Album (winter themed)... over $50 value! We will pick one winner from the participating blogs.
Let me know your thoughts!

Hi Allison!
I personally would love to save my money & spend it shopping!!! I think it will be more fun in the school buses also, like a real "pub crawl"!!! I always get a kick out of seeing the buses during Stampede.
Look forward to seeing you on CityTV this AM & all the fun stuff coming up!
I'd rather have the extra $ to shop! The Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist is so addictive, you need the xtra money just to buy all the colours available ;) ! I bought some at the Vancouver Crop & Cruise after learning how to use it from Trisha, I'm hooked!
The very practical side of me says go for the school bus. I am all about saving money to shop for supplies!!!
I would rather use the money towards scrapbook shopping and ride around in a school bus.
Hello Mrs.Orthner,
I would love to take a school bus field trip to get scrapbooking supplies. I think that spending money on supplies would be more important then riding a fancy bus.
Anja
Hi Allison. Loved your TV segment this morning using the tattered angels glimmer mist. What a gorgeous layout you made! Also enjoyed the ideas about the different photo albums. Must put some of the many photos I have that are presently stored in boxes, into some of these albums.
If I am able to attend the Crop and Cruise, the old yellow school bus would be just fine. After going on many school field trips, it works for me. Have a great day! Jennifer R. Calgary
Hi Allison, I am hoping to join your Crop Crawl in November. I would rather ride the school bus so that I can have more spending money for scrapbooking goodies!
You looked like you were having fun on this morning's segment with Dave! Thanks for the opportunity to win!
Jeanette
Okay, first: am I the first one truly commenting on here!?
second: is this the right place to give my thoughts on the buses!?
I'm torn, Calgary is a big town and riding comfy might be nice... but riding in a yellow school bus has better scrappin' potential and it's FUN! (How much extra will we have to spend in the stores?! It's probably worth it!!)
You're so much fun Allison!
thanks,
smiles,
Laurie LaRose
I would definitely pay more to have a better bus if only for the convenience of having a bathroom. :D
Hi Allison,
I would rather go on a cheaper bus and have more $$$ for shopping.

Hi Allison,
I feel that the yellow bus would be great as it would afford everyone to visit more (no high back seats) and make new friends plus have the advantage of spending more dollars at the various stores. It would be great to have a bus driver who is also a scrapbooker so that they can enjoy the trip as much as we will. Nov. 1st and the YELLOW BUS gives us something special to look forward to now that summer is soon to become fall.
I think cruisin in a school bus would be fun, never mind having extra $$ to buy scrapstuff with!! But I can't knock buying more stuff!
As always a great segment yesterday morning!!!!! I'm hoping to join you on the scrapbook crawl in November, I'm good either way but I can see people want to spend more on supplies and ride the big yellow bus, so I'll vote for that :) I loved seeing the buses during stampede with everyone have a great time on them, if the bus company will let you wouldn't it be fun to have a cheap banner(like a sheet) made up saying something like scrapbook addicts on board!!!
I would definitely save the bus money for shopping! Love your Tattered Angels work, glimmer mist is one of my favourite supplies! What great give away!

I rather go in the bus gee I wish I lived in Calgary sounds like a great time. Wendy
School buses!!! Definitly... More money for supplies...
Hello!
I am all over the big yellow limo! Being relatively new to the scrapbooking/cardmaking world, there are so many amazing things out there that I'd rather spend my money on! Besides, I think the school bus ride would be so fun & a true "crawl"!
Having the extra money to shop is worth taking the school bus.
I don't have unlimited funds so I'd rather travel on the school bus so I've got more money for shopping!
Yep, I'm in agreement with the rest. School bus with extra empty seat so there's space for all the stuff we can buy! LOL
I enjoyed your segment on City tv!!
I can't imagine anyone who loves scrapbooking wanting to travel in luxury!! Bring on the school bus and let me buy more paper!
love the idea of the yellow school bus and some extra cash to buy supplies!
Serena
I would like to save the money for shopping!!
hi Allison
I can see our pages now, a big yellow school bus page with pictures of us gals looking out of the bus window sections, and other windows could have pictures of us in the stores...Yes a yellow bus page is the one I think would look the cutest...I can see the inscriptions now...off to Scrap School...never too old to learn...School Memories...my best friend at Scrap School...ah and the list goes on.
Yellow bus for me :)
Sue
There's no question--the yellow school bus is the way to go. Much friendlier in terms of talking with everyone! And, saving money for (worthier) causes is good too.
Hi Allison
I would be one of the first to say ride the school bus. I live outside of Calgary and rode the school bus every day to school. It was fun then and is still fun now. Riding with other scrapbookers is even better, and saving money to buy more scrapbook nessesities makes it perfect.
I agree with the majority of comments already posted. School bus pls! More shopping money, photo ops, chances to talk and share ideas (on how to scrap the yellow bus)and make new friends. I also agree with kandiman who said we need empty seats to put our purchases on as well! Strathmore has a great shop too.
Joanne
I think that saving the money for shopping would be my choice. The school bus would be more than adequate, and the photos and memorie opportunities of "days gone by" would more than make up for any discomfort!
Also, all of us parents would get the opportunity to refresh our memories regarding what it's like to travel like our kids--maybe a bit of an eye opener + shopping! How great is that!!
I'm all for riding in a cheese wagon and saving the money for shopping!

Ok, So my first instinct was to say the more comfy bus...after all I am a princess! However, after reading the responds, it would seem the big yellow bus is leading.
So... I will colour coordinate my clothes, get great photo op's, and as always, when I am scrapbooking, have the time of my life!
It sounds like a blast!
Hi Allison I would thinkk the school bus I would much rather spend my extra money on STUFF while out shopping. THe Tattered Angels stuff looks fantastic Sorry I missed you this AM Marlene
I'd rather have the extra money to shop with - travelling on a school bus is lots of fun and with so many creative people on board it would be even more fun.
I just wish I could be there for it. Maybe next time (sigh)...
I think one of the best things about a "crawl" is the 'school' bus atmosphere. Your not going to be on it long after all. Enjoy! She wish it was closer so I could go.
I would like to save my money and spend it at the stores!
Hi Allison
I have to add to the majority here - Little Yellow School Bus is my vote. Perhaps we could coordinate with Little Yellow Bicycle (papers) and have a terrific page layout to boot!
cheers
