First "Real" Day of CHA 2010!!!

Okay... you know it's a good day when you walk into a booth and tears of joy begin to form in your eyes!!!!  Seriously!!!!  One of my favourite companies designed an entire line of papers... just for ME!!!!
It's called
"Mama-razzi"

HELLO!!!!  I have not been this personally excited about a new line for a long time!!!  Don't get me wrong... I love LOTS of new lines, but this one SCREAMS ME!!!  And I am soooooo excited to get to play with it!!!!

And the best news???  It's from one of my most favourite companies...
BO BUNNY!!!!
So I wasn't going to reveal my "Top Picks" just yet especially as I haven't yet had the chance to really walk the show floor... but I can't get this one out of my mind!!!  And so I must share!!!

But on to other things...

Christy and I have had fun teaching at the Westcott booth and test-driving their trimmers and scissors... this company knows their stuff!!  We are really impressed with all their tools... and love their new fun colours!!  As Christy says, "Life is too short for ugly tools!!"

At the very end of the day as we were walking out, we got distracted by a wonderful booth filled with some great eye candy...

Nikki Sivils is a talented (and cute!) new face on the scrapbooking scene... with some really neat ideas (she designed her packaging on several products to be used!  Love that!).  Christy had mentioned this girl as one to watch for so it will be neat to see how she does!!!  Her story is a great one (see Christy's blog!)

And speaking of Christy's blog... don't forget you can enter each day on her blog and on Scrapbook Pantry's website to win a great CHA prize bundle!!

My question for today is...

What are your favourite colour combinations to scrapbook with?

WOw, I so love the photography paper too Allison! I love "old stuff"LOL
My favourite colours to scrapbook with are cream, green, plus a complementary colour. That is a really tough question as we scrapbookers have an absolute rainbow to choose from!
Hope you have another fun day!
P.S.Love the photo of Christy holding up the trimmer and her make'n'take! Can you please have her bring all her make'n'takes back to have a show and tell!!
THanks:)

Hmmm...this is a hard one because I think scrapbookers like to scrapbook because we don't really have to choose. We can use what we're in the mood for but I guess my favorites would be white, bright green, teal and black.

That photography paper is fantastic....

My favorite colors I scrapbook with the most tend to be blues & browns....in a life full of boys...hard to escape those colors!!

I know isn't Mama Razzi the BEST! BoBunny has been running sneak peeks and contests this past week and I have to say their entire line is a winner! Jazmyne & Roughin' it are also faves.

So my favorite colors to scrapbook with are naturals earthy like olives, oranges, coppers and then purples and a few brights. Doesn't sound like a match but... :)

I love Nikki's stuff, I have a bunch of it already!

I love using neutrals or pinks for my daughter...whatever attracts my eye at that moment!

Right now I'm using a lot of dark greys, olive greens, and black. I'm sure winter is affecting me.

any color will do - and the more color the better! i've been playing with paint and inks and miss lately and everything is either pink or some vintage browns. maybe it's time to bring out the greens and blues and hope for summer instead of the blizzards!

I tend to use a lot of blues/oranges/primary colours because I have a little boy. But now I'm having a girl - I can't wait to see all the other possibilities!

I love all colors in moderation but I especially love using ocean colors together with a nice clean crisp white.

Love the brights, I use a lot of pink and green or blue and green with a splash of black to ground it. My scrapping guru taught me that, hee hee.

I like to find papers that make the photos "pop" on the page, so I usually pick colours that highlight outfits that my kids are wearing. I have been known to ask my children to change if their outfits are clashing!

Love brights... mostly purples and also shabby for vintage layouts... lots of pastels. Thanks for sharing all the excitement of CHA with us! Can't wait for you girls from Canada to head to SoFLA again!

The sky's the limit! Right now I'm drawn to brown as a base with pinks, blues and pearl whites. With spring and summer approaching at a Calgary pace, my thoughts are turning to the raspberries and limes:-)

I like to go bold and fun for kids stuff. I am drawn to anything green so that tends to be a theme in a lot of my work. I am looking forward to getting my hot little hands on the new photography paper that you are showing here. I lover the embelishments.
