I wear so many hats... and LOVE them all!! But here is a short list of "what I do":
- wife (to a gorgeous "gadget guy" husband for over 20 years)
- mother (to two simply splendiferous teenagers)
- photographer (have owned my own studio in my home for over 20 years)
- teacher (retired from full time teaching... just substitute now when I want)
- instructor (LOVE teaching photography classes and crafting classes)
- writer (have written for several magazines, but am currently a regular contributing writer for Creative Scrapbooker Magazine)
- humanitarian (between trips to Brazil, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Haiti, I have a crazy passion for helping those less fortunate)
- scrapbooker (done this pretty much all my life... got extra inspired to get involved in the industry after my first publication in the Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame in 2003)
- event planner (own and host Crop and Cruise Scrapbooking cruises for Canadians, coordinate Scrapbook Your Heart retreats for women and many other events!!)
- media (do regular TV segments on scrapbooking and photography and have had 13 front covers on assorted magazines)
- guest speaker (have presented numerous sessions on a wide variety of topics including scrapbooking, photography, finding joy in life, living your strengths, etc.)
My heart's passions are truly my faith, my family, my friends and fun (in that order!!) I laugh easily and often and cry about the same! My heart breaks for those who are hurting and suffering and I rejoice along with others who have reason to smile. My deepest desire is to live a life full of passion, love, generosity, forgiveness and hope... a life that inspires others to do the same.
